In late October Dayanand Diffenbaugh and Jaya Maxon led a group of 12 visitors throughout Delhi, Agra, the orphanage ending with a pilgrimage to Kedarnath. While at the orphanage they attended yoga classes, studied yoga sutras and participated in sacred ceremonies. On Dushera the group accompanied the ashram children to arati at Har-Ki-Pauri and watched Ravana burn to the ground amid a ferocious blast of firecrackers. They culminated their 10 day trip with a 5 day pilgrimage to Kedarnath, a sacred mountain temple north of Haridwar. It was wonderful seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Thanks for the inspirational visit and help during our Haridwar outing.
